Battle!

I can hear the drums on the horizon,

I can feel the men’s anticipation,

I can taste their apprehension,

I see their shadows in their eyes,

Today will be a victorious day,

Even for those who fall,

Today we crush our foe once and for all,

Today we free ourselves,

Today we celebrate a nation,

Today we win!

Today will be remembered forever…Long live Zachania!

The battle of Shardom

At the Battle of Shardom where five thousand of Lord Heikan's Fifth army were massacred.
On the morning after the battle when Lord Talon walked amongst the fallen bodies, fighting back the tears he spoke these words.

There are no words to describe this….

No words can come close to the bravery of their gallant actions.

No words can express their sacrifice,

No words can explain their pain,

Only tears…just tears for our fallen brothers.

Tears for their loved ones,

Tears for our nation.

They gave everything so we can live,

Let us always remember their courage,

Let us shout their names with pride,

Let the Fifth be remembered throughout  the passages of time,

Let us embrace their sacrifice and know their name with honour,

For they are heroes and examples for all of us,

They are heroes....... for all mankind.

I want to live!

I want to fly…

No longer will I sit in darkness and hide among these walls

I want to unleash the life within, bring the world into my life.

Grasp life by the throat and squeeze what I want.

Rid myself of the fears and negativities and fly on the hopes of freedom and beauty.

No longer will I fear what will happen.

Grasp this life and fly with hope in my heart, enthusiasm and joy as I look at the sunshine through eyes of optimism.

No more hiding in the shadows scared that I may make a mistake.

To hell with them…I will live!

Live as a free man…live as a human being, full of love and passion.

I will throw off my chains, rise from the confines of pressure and doom.

I have one life and I will live it.

My will and zest must break free, now is the time, no more waiting.

Fly…fly..and find my worth, it is there buried in chains of baggage.

Buried by those who fear me being so free.

I want glens and meadows of sunshine, the feel of a warm breeze on my brow and the feeling of satisfaction that when my time is finally over I can say I did everything I could to live my life to its full.

Today I rise from a huddled position, frightened to be seen…today I stand and open my arms and smile as I smell the world…today I embrace life…today I begin to live.

“Brave warrior Lords of Zachania….Brave men of Zachania…tonight we gather together on the verge of history….we gather together on the verge of greatness!...” as Talon finished the word greatness he was suddenly interrupted by the sound of an almighty crash of thunder, so loud it seemed to shake the castle.

“Hopefully that was the gods applauding us!” added Talon smiling as the flash of lightening lit up the room.

“Tonight we gather together on the eve of battle as a group, a group of men that may never be together again….no one here knows what this battle will bring, but what we do know is that this battle will end. On that day when the fighting stops, god willing we will all gather again as a whole…we will rejoice and swap stories of the battle and tales of victory….but if this group does not gather together again as a whole then this gathering now is a time for us to show our respect and admiration to one another…a time to feel the pride flow through your veins because by your side stands your brother, beside you stands the man who will fight to the death for the same dream as you!...it is a time now for us to be one….one army…one Zachanian nation….time to swear your allegiance for you King….time for us to fight…fight for the freedom and salvation of our loved ones, the honour of our ancestors and the honour of our RIGHT AS FREE MEN!
